You know, I wouldn’t be surprised if one day we all get our shopping from the local “Googleco”. The guys at google are on the cutting edge of modern technology and below are a few free valuable marketing tools you can use, if you’re not already, to help your site get more recognized.
I won’t go into detail in this post, you can check each one out yourself with the links.
1) Google Analytics
As far as I’m concerned, the No1 tool available from google.
Analytics analyzes your web traffic, tells you where your visitors are coming from and what they’re doing when they get there.
You may end up on a waiting list when applying for this marketing tool as the service is in high demand.

2) Google Alerts
Google Alerts will notify you via email when somebody, or another website, gives you a mention. This is a cool way to keep an eye on your online competitors and keep track of other related online activities.

3) Google Sitemaps
A great way to get newly created pages on your website into the google search engine quickly. It involves creating and uploading a .XML file to your server with details of your sites pages broken down into number of pages, priorities etc.

If you use a WordPress blog like me, you can get a great automatic sitemap generator wordpress plugin here:

Or you can find an online sitemap generator to assist you in setting up your .XML sitemap.
Right, I’m off down the local “Googleco” to get myself some Applets, a Cookie and Download a Strawberry Kilobyte shake.
I had a funny sentence with the term Outbox in it but thought I’ll definitely leave that one out. 😯
